HTS 50 Year Anniversary

1971

Heat Transfer Sales, Inc. Was established by Ray McGalliard, Larry Faust, Cal Lassiter, and Harry King.  Sales offices were located in Greensboro, Raleigh, Charlotte, and Greenville, SC.

The company received its first check for services from Metrolina Heating and Cooling Corporation.

1972

1976

​HTS added salesmen and opened an office in Columbia, SC.

The Greensboro headquarters moved to a corporate office and warehouse on Norwalk street.

1978

1988

The company was sold to Ken Stevens, who became the new president of HTS, Wayne Hutchins, and Don Brady.

1980

The company received its first Taco Comfort Solutions Diamond Award.  This prestigious award is used to designate outstanding manufacturer representatives who perform above and beyond in the sales and support of commercial Taco products.

 HTS was representing more than 20 hydronic and engineered plumbing equipment lines.

1987

 The company moved its headquarters to the current location, a 17,000 square foot office and warehouse.

The company launched the Pump’nFlo™ packaged systems line.

Ownership of the company transitioned to Jeff Vestal along with Joe Britt, Jerry Hall, and Jay Sheely.

2019

Heat Transfer Sales was purchased by Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc. and became 100% employee-owned through the ESOP.

Joe Britt took over the role of president.

HTS celebrates 50 years of service to the HVAC commercial building community. Thank you to our customers, manufacturing partners, and employee-owners for a wonderful 50 years! We are looking forward to serving for and with you for another 50 and beyond!
